new revision of my very first book, Nursing, the Philosophy and Science of Caring. The original version will go out of print after this process is complete. You may purchase the "classic" edition of the book through the UCDHSC bookstore

Stay tuned to this site for more information on progress of the new edition which will reflect the evolution of the theory from Caring Factors to Caritas Factors.  One of the exciting evolutions of the theory is the growth of the research group, the International Caritas Consortium. Their work in practice, education and research are crucial to the development of the work.

I am deeply honored to have my book Caring Science as Sacred Science chosen for the 2005 AJN Book of the Year in the category of Nursing Research. This book is also available through the UCDHSC bookstore.

Please let me hear from you and your interests in being connected with the work. I welcome your inquiries and look forward to learning more from you and about you. I invite you to consider coming to Colorado for one or more of my intensive modular courses.

You can email me anytime and I will get back as quickly as possible.

    Thanks for your interest.

All good wishes and blessings on your journey,  Jean
